This is a constant issue , for years there is non stop water coming down hill from properties above. It's causes pot holes that have to be regularly patched.

When making a left from Ontario on to Vesper Circle, the yellow caution sign impedes view of oncoming traffic. (Ironic since that's its purpose!)
If you lowered the caution sign, drivers in cars would be able to view oncoming traffic earlier.
It would also help to trim back the birds of paradise in the island. They've grown past the width of the island and also impair a driver's visibility.

Needs to have a NO turn on red during specific hours (school hours). The cars traveling down Rimpau keep turning onto Chase while the cars at the corner of Chase/Rimpau have the green light and end up blocking any other cars from turning. It's bad enough that this intersection doesn't have a green turn signal for cars traveling on Chase.

For several years we who live on Christopher & Horizon Streets have had to endure large volumes of traffic & high speeds as so many use our neighborhood to cut through to get their children to Santiago
We've seen the city post No Right Turn during specific times to alleviate this issue We've also had CPD on Horizon which helps while they are there However when they are gone the speeds increase
Please help us to keep our neighborhood & streets safe Pulling out of our driveways is sometimes hazardous
  • Citron St & Via Pacifica Corona, CA, 92882, USA - Corona

Five people have died on this stretch of Via Pacifica since 2014. Besides the 91 freeway, this is the deadliest place to drive in the city. The city recently planted a few trees along the street. That's a good start. The sidewalks are heavily used by residents due to the close proximity to apartments, single family homes, and the nearby Stater Bros, Crunch Fitness, and other stores. The parking lot at Via Pacifica and Border is a nightmare as well. So let's do something about this. We could step into the future and transform this stretch of Via Pacifica into a mixed-use area. It's an extremely wide street that encourages speeding so let's break it into a one-way on each side (with traffic calming) and have a completely separate walking path and biking path (There's space for both!). We could even make the other roads safer by putting roundabouts at the intersections of Via Pacifica/Ontario and Via Pacifica/Border. Roads lose cities money and people should have a safe place to walk. Make Corona a strong town!

i'm not sure who determines where to place a "your speed is" speed limit sign but there are 2 speed limit signs halfway up oakridge that could be a little more useful in other locations. there may be some factors that i'm overlooking but in my opinion, whoever placed the two signs no more than a block away from each other, didn't give it much thought. the two signs actually face each other and i have never seen those type of solar powered digital displays arranged in such a close inefficient manner. first of all the sign in view of the downhill traffic is in the upper middle section of a long steep hill that doesn't have houses facing the street. the other sign is at the top of a long uphill stretch where there are no houses. there are a number of residents at the bottom of canyon crest that are subjected to inconsiderate neighbors doing 2 times the 25mph speed limit past our houses ALL DAY AND NIGHT LONG. maybe one of those misplaced signs could be of better use at the bottom of canyon crest. if i am wrong in suggesting the 2 signs were installed in poor locations, i apologize. in that case maybe the homeowners at the bottom of canyon crest can get a sign as well. it's hardly fair that one street gets 2 and another street gets none.

Curious why there is NO posted speed limit signs on the southbound side of South Main Street between Walgreens and just beyond Chase Avenue? That's 1.5 miles and we all know there are many speeders in this stretch. In fact, there was a radar speed sign last year in this area.
