There are 5 houses on my street that must use our dead end back alley to access our driveways. The potholes are now so big and deep that we can no longer drive around and I've almose lost my muffler. This happens every year. Just once, I'd like the City crews to actually blade to the bottom of the potholes instead of scraping the top 1/2 of gravel into the 3" = depp potholes!! What are my taxes paying for??
Update April 21, 2012...It's worse now than it has ever been. Better have a 4 wheel drive if you want to get home without losing your muffler! I invite the Mayor and Coun. Dionne to actually do something about this for a change!

the City won't do it, and they won't contract out
so what do you do?
send them the bill for damage, and when they refuse to pay, take them to small claims court.
they take your taxes and agree to provide certain services. a lane that won't damage your car, I'm sure, is one of them
