Probably because complainant actually cares about the dog, and Meriden Animal Control abuses animals... duh!

Thank You Cara , You are absolutely right . My wife & I love dogs and don't want to see any dog get hit by a car . All we want is for this dog to be loved & cared for and be on a lease for a walk which its owners never do .

I was unaware of abuse at Animal Control. I love animals as well and the thought of the little dog being hit by a car is upsetting.

there is no verified abuse at the Animal Control. there were accusations made and not verified. the local animal hospital confirmed that there is no abuse at the Animal Contorl facility. the correct and leagal procedure is to notify Animal Control, they will look into the accusations concerning the little white dog. If you do anything else you may be arrested, the little white dog is not yours!

Why do you have such a problem with 118 gale ave? Have you ever spoken to the owner about any of your concerns? I'm not saying your allegations are unfounded but it almost seems like your finding anything you can to complain about and doing it.

I'm looking to get a problem fixed thru the proper channels . If anybody has to say something to the owner ,it should come from the proper authorities.

Then the next time you see the dog roaming in the neighborhood call animal control.

How would local Animal Hospital know if there was abuse at Meriden Animal Control or not? Unverified complaints? What does that even mean? When you have more than dozen people making the complaints it way past "unverified." And stop threatening people with arrest Larry... I mean anonymous person.

Please read R-J article from 7/29/11, 2-3 cases to be looked into, not more than a dozen. Beth Vumbaco and JOSEPH V. ST. CLAIR, VMD have both stated that there is no abuse at Animal Control, are you saying they are lying? I am not Larry, and I did not threaten arrest. I stated you could be arrested as this white dog is not yours and the owner has the right to have you arrested if you take this dog from him, it's the job of Animal Contol to seize the dog from abusive owners, not yours.
