Oh absolutely! I totally agree with you! That place would be the perfect location for a nice restaurant or some kind of kid's playland location, but NO... it just SITS there EMPTY for years and years and years like everything else around Latham. I mean, look at the old Starlite Theater, for heaven's sake! Abandoned for 13 years and STILL nothing has been rebuilt there.
Or how about the burned-down KFC building on Route 9 which burnt down in 2004 and STILL nothing has been rebuilt! Look at all the grafitti and broken down boards covering the windows and all the WEEDS and GARBAGE!!!!
You are totally correct: Latham IS beginning to look like Detroit! It's pathetic! People are moving out of here left and right because of the exorbitant taxes!
