Public Works’ staff investigated your concern. When the construction of the Princess Anne/Kempsville intersection project is complete, there will be new streetlights installed. However, due to the amount and nature of work required in and around the intersection, the streetlights cannot be installed during construction. During construction, the contractor has used high reflectivity channelization devices (barrels) and additional pavement markings to delineate the traffic lanes from the work areas.
