The fence of the off-leash recreational area at Nunziato Field on Summer Street has been damaged, apparently in the course of snow removal on the sidewalk. There is danger that people's pets could escape under the fence into the street.

My dog actually was able to get out of the fence and DID run out into traffic. We were watching her and playing with her in the "time out" area and she ran through the bent gate. Since there are very few places dogs can go this is a pretty major issue.
We had to run out after her and one of us had to stop traffic and the other get her. Not safe at all.
