I also live in the newer development behind Monnes Road. The "traffic" has been heavier lately, and yelling has also been heard. My husband has tried contacting the local police, yet nothing has been done. If a cop were to park near the road just one day/night they would see the blatent activitiy going on. We happened to be behind the car as it went into Middletown and she went directly to Ferry Street. I worry about my young children who are outside playing. I understand Monnes Road is a "private" road, but this is now affecting the entire neighborhood surrounding it with the increase of activity. I'm wondering if we should contact Middletown police instead or our local officers.. please help.
