Sharraxaadda

The eastbound side of the 4200 block of Arkansas Ave. NW at 14th St. NW. There is a single white line next to the island where there would normally be a parking lane. The line is signaling to drivers that Arkansas Ave E/B is two lanes when it is not. I don't believe that it's a turning lane because there is a slip lane allowing vehicles to turn S/B onto 14th St. Can DDOT examine? It creates occasional issues with vehicle accidents.
