Sharraxaadda

Despite great care being taken at this crossing I nearly got hit by a car with my baby yesterday. People often miss the elevated stop sign that is several feet before the crossing. Can a regular stop sign be added on this corner to prevent this. Problem is exacerbated by speeding.
