Traffic around Rosa Parks at Metro Center has always been difficult and quick to back-up and now is even more so with the new construction going on. One change that would dramatically help rush-hour and lunch traffic in that area is if the side entrance (the one on Dominican) to the Gas station at Dominican and Rosa Parks was CLOSED during work-day hours (6am to 6pm) M-F. That entrance ALWAYS backs up traffic with motorists trying to squeeze in and out of it when there are dozens of cars lined up at the light blocking the entrance. It doesn't help matters that the light there is very short for drivers trying to turn left onto Rosa Parks. Besides backing up traffic, it also is dangerous when there is traffic. I have seen many vehicles come close to accidents due to that entrance. Even with that entrance closed, patrons will still be able to get to the gas station (and more safely and easily) by using the Rosa Parks entrance.
