Previously route 12 outbound stopped on Hillsborough St right before the Dixie Trail intersection, but the stop was changed to route 4 only (I think due to the right turn lane).
This leaves about 0.5 mile between stops on the outbound 12. To reduce this distance, can a new stop be added to the NW side of the intersection (after outbound 12 crosses the light, in front of East Village Grill)?
Also, can the sign that informs riders that route 12 does not serve the Hillsborough St & Dixie Trail stop be put back up (it was taken down when the CAT bus stops were replaced)? I've observed twice this stop causing confusion for route 12 riders.

The current distance between the two stops is 4.5 blocks, this is a high-density/high-ridership corridor, and this is the only gap on Hillsborough St that's over 3 blocks. So how can such a distance be the standard?
Again, since the Dixie Tr stop was discontinued, between the Brooks Lot and Shepard St intersection there are no stops for the outbound 12. Over the same distance on the inbound routing there are two stops (at Daisy St and at Zaxby's). If two stops can be allowed over the same distance on the inbound side, how can the standard be for no stops on the outbound side?
Due to the inconsistencies I've pointed out, can you please verify that this is actually your standard? Even if your standard is this inconsistent, can you please reconsider based on the best interest of your riders? There are certainly feasible locations for a stop over this long gap.

Has this one been reconsidered? I've seen multiple times riders on bus 12 ring the bell after the Brooks Ave stop, and are surprised by the long distance until the bus stops.
Again, no other stops in this area are 4.5 blocks apart so this can't be standard. There are multiple feasible locations for stops, such as in front of East Village Grill or at the Daisy St intersection (there's already an inbound stop at the Daisy St intersection, so adding an Outbound stop would make sense).
I'll accept whatever CAT's response is this time, but I hope the issue will be given appropriate consideration.

This is a far distance, especially for an area with high demand. Riders generally have to walk just to get to Hillsborough St, and this increases their walk and thus their total trip time. Also, I mentioned two locations for stops that would not block driveways or parking lots. Fortunately this undesirable standard is not followed anywhere else in the area.
Regardless, thank you for responding, and I will not further pursue this issue.
