Basic drivers ed,..... teaches that the Left turn yields to oncoming traffic,... whther they would be going forward/ straight or turning .

Tuesday morning, 10:00 A.M. I was going North on Fern to get on Rt 2. At Jackson Street, I HAD A GREEN LIGHT to turn right. A LAKETRAN BUS was coming off Rt 2 and turning left on to Jackson. I could not make the turn fast enough for this bus to turn left onto Jackson. Now I know that they do not have a green light at the same time. The light in their lane is RED. The light to go straight on FERN is GREEN, The light to turn right is GREEN. This happens all the time, they go thru a RED light to turn on Jackson from RT 2. I NEVER know when I should turn, as they will not stop. They cannot understand that red is stop. Something needs to be done about this.

Northbound Fern need to realize that ramp left turns sometimes have a green turn arrow while the Fern traffic has a red light giving the ramp traffic the right of way.
