The ole YMCA is closing..Yes two Y officials were there back in December openly explaining to staff that they will not be receiving any monetary support from the Not For Profit conglomerate fathers after Dec.31 2019..They were on their own , and was reaching out and beseeching city hall and The Team for help , it was denied.
The place seemed to be doing okay , lots of members , pool usage , talk of 22 rooms for adults upstairs someplace ( 22 x $4 or $500 per month is some good change,had to help) Although the rooming house issue had it's own issues , stealing and arguing between..but such is.
