Please do something about this. We are trying to run businesses here, and this is what we have to look at. It's scaring our customers away and we are losing business. There was a news story about Tick Segerbloom wanting to bring more businesses here from Downtown, but nobody is going to want to come here with this eyesore. In addition, there is another homeless camper on the Karen side entrance that hasn't moved in months and another homeless camper on the north side of the parking lot. Please address these issues.

The Flamingo Wash Trail Pedestrian Bridge over Desert Inn is unsafe for family use If passing on a bike you have to get off and maneuver around the homeless mess One was openly smoking meth The Country is responsible for the management of the trail While Public Works cannot move the homeless, you can as property management call the police and have them moved You can make them move and arrest those breaking any law You did it on the trail under Pecos-McLeod and Boulder Highway at the northbound off ramp You do it on the strip and rich neighborhoods So please make our trail and neighborhood safe again Do your job and make these homeless move or except help No more excuses The Country is responsible to clean the trail and remove the homeless blocking it and making it unsafe Your biweekly cleanup has failed and you need to except that and come up with a new strategy But it's our turn to have these homeless removed from our neighborhood

This is on the Flamingo Wash Trail between Desert Inn and Mojave The cleanup failed to remove these homeless who have been living here for months doing drugs, using the trail as a bathroom, and leaving trash everywhere Your cleanup is poorly planed and needs to come back the next day as threatened to the homeless That is why they come back They know they have two weeks Public Works needs a better strategy than the failed one they have now We want our trail back fi

Here you go, as requested a new submission. The bi-weekly cleanup is not doing a good job. This trash piled at the north end of the pedestrian walkway has been here over a month through several of these "cleanups". Why do I have to get off my bike when I pass by because of this junk pile? Why is this homeless group allowed to keep their junk there when others are made to remove it? Why? And when will they remove the trash from the top of the pylon visible in the picture? Or the stripped wire insulation left by thieving homeless along the trail next to the bridge? Or the homeless camp just south of the bridge on the trail. It completely blocks the trail. How do you expect families to use the trail and bridge when the homeless are there doing drugs in the open and blocking the trail with their trash. We need a better cleanup and have it changed to weekly until the homeless get the message.

They have almost completely blocked the Flamingo Wash Trail They have been here for weeks and several "cleanups" have failed to remove the camp Open use of meth was observed When will the neighborhood get the relief we pay for?

My friend, Kim G., wrote a couple weeks ago about the homeless encampment on the bridge over Desert Inn in between Mojave and McLeod. They have open fires, they camp across the entire walking path, they urinate and defecate on this trail, they have booby traps setup so that they will hear people who are coming along the path. We have even had someone grab her bike when we were on this trail.
Kim got a response back from this website saying that they had moved out the homeless on this bridge. Up until it got below 60, I was riding this path every day and the day that she was told that they had been moved off the path, I did write on this path and they were all still there.
There are usually at least five different groups of people with tents and open fires and all of their detritus all over the path.
The picture you see is what happened when I was riding up the bridge and first, they wouldn't move, it's not because they were being mean, they are just slow to respond. I got around that group and someone stepped out in front of me because they weren't paying attention to me calling that I was coming through. Once I dodge that person, I went by and open flame where they were cooking and dodged a huge piece of cardboard attached to the fence that was blowing back and forth across the path. Having successfully maneuvered around all that, then I saw a curtain rod diagonal across the road. I hit that with my bike tires and my tires slid across it and in stopping I flew forward hitting my stomach on the bike handle, knocking my light off the bike handle while my left leg came off the pedal and scrape down the teeth of the pedal.
Except for about three occasions when we were actually physically assaulted and stopped, most of them are very polite. However, this is meant to be a public recreational pathway, not a filthy homeless encampment.
What can be done about permanently moving these people off the Neon to Nature & Flamingo Arroyo Trail?
    Thanks, Shelly

Biweekly cleanup does not work Look at the trash Open drug use Stolen property and shop lifted items evident Why does the community have to put up with this? Why do businesses have to put up with the theft and customers scared away? Clark County and the police need to do more SAME ONES YOU MADE MOVE A FEW DAYS AGO Make them move EVERYDAY till they get the message They will not seek help until there drug lives are made much worse than they are now

This truck has not been operational in years and was spray painted completely black (windshield & indicator lights included) and set as a yard decoration. Brakes have failed and a cinderblock is the only thing keepinging it in place. The truck has slowly crept down the yard and into the sidewalk where it is n This is a potentially hazardous if not fatal situation.ow.

Homeless camp set back up after "cleaning" and blocking trail We want our trail back These homeless have been here two months now and think the trail belongs to them If you can't get there for two weeks send Metro Police to drive down the trail If they can't pass then make them move Emergency vehicles cannot be blocked by homeless camps I can't call because I don't have the time to wait a half hour for them to answer and they don't care Please send them and make them care Or come and remove them again But these homeless are a major drug problem in the neighborhood
  • 3135 S Mojave Rd Las Vegas NV 89121, United States - Winchester
These homeless have set up a camp on the Flamingo Wash Trail between Desert Inn and Mojave .One of the homeless from this camp was down the trail next to the wall doing drugs Most of what is under cover are household goods including a washer and dryer Maybe if they weren't spend money on drugs they could afford storage? They have been here for over two months now All their stuff is on wheels and when your failed biweekly cleanups happens they just move it down the trail and right back when the contractor leaves The Country is responsible for the management of the trail. While Public Works cannot move the homeless, you can as property management call the police and have them moved. You can make them move. You did it on the trail under Pecos-McLeod and Boulder Highway at the northbound off ramp. You do it on the strip and rich neighborhoods. So please make our trail and neighborhood safe again. Do you job and make these homeless move or except help. No more excuses. The Country is responsible to clean the trail and remove the homeless blocking it and making it unsafe. You biweekly cleanup has failed and you need to except that and come up with a new strategy. But it’s our turn to have these homeless removed from our neighborhood. This is getting old They need to be moved before an emergency vehicle needs to pass by on the trail And the drug activity makes it unsafe for families to use the trail Give us back out trail
