Nothing has been done about this issue. It is getting worse. I guess the city doesn't care about our area. They only want to collect taxes. We are going to be moving in the next year and want to sell our house. With this problem and the airplanes landing directly over our house every 90 seconds, what choice do we have of selling? Anothetr thing you might check on is in Minneapolis the FAA is paying people to noise proof their houses do to the airport noise as they have changed the traffic patterns. If we want anything done in Charlotte we have to go through an attorney. The airport is buying houses off Snow Lane because they want the land. We get nothing. You can't even hear the TV when they are landing. They little guy always gets the shaft. If we lived in Myers Park or Ballentine it would be a no brainer. Someone might like to do a story on this. Fountain Odem is handling this issue but only if you paid $400 2 years ago.
