Paint arrows between Vista Terrace & Forest Road

I am getting really tired of "almost accidents" because people can't make simple sense of these lanes. From Vista towards Forest - the Left lane should be straight and the right lane should be a right turn onto Forest.

Agreed! Going west on Fountain there needs to be 2 clearly marked lanes. Starting at Vista Terrace a straight arrow in the left lane and a straight/right turn arrow in the right lane. Then at Dayton/Forrest a straight/left arrow in the left lane (to turn left onto Dayton St or go straight on Fountain St.) and a right turn only arrow to turn right on Forrest Road.

Almost got plowed today by a car to my right who went straight instead of turning onto Forest like they should have. I had kids in the car to boot. Please address this problem!!!!!!!!

If there aren't any signs there now, why is it assumed that right lane=right turn only?

If these lanes become designated lanes, please install a left turn arrow on the light for cars going left onto Dayton. I think the reason people use the right lane to go straight is because they don't want to get stuck behind someone going left against all the oncoming traffic onto Dayton.

I think you need to reread the board. No one said anything that they are "assumed". We all have been saying that they "should" be a certain direction because of the common complexity of the road. Those of us that drive it on a daily basis realize what these lanes SHOULD be - hence this discussion.

To make matters worse, trucks are on this road on a daily basis. There is a no truck thru sign but it is absolutely ignored. Biggest regret buying a house in westville .
