The Traffic light at the Woodlyn Shopping Center should be on a sensor. It is always red for Macdade Blvd coming into Ridley from Chester at 4am when there is no one there in the middle of the night.
It is on a sensor. The laundromat is open 24/7 in that shopping center. If someone pulls over the sensor and then turns out of the lot, the light will change approx 20 seconds after they leave.
The sensor does not work then. I have sat and waited to see if it would change with no one there and it did. The sensor is broke and the light cycles with no one there.
You're wrong laxd2001, the laundromat is not open 24/7. It is open 7am to 10 pm weekends and 8 am to 11 pm on weekdays. But the shopping center across MacDade Blvd. is open most of the night because of Liberty and the pizza place.
the light should be flashing yellow for McDade traffic off peak hours. It's crazy to sit at the light @ 6 AM. There is no traffic exiting the shopping center at that time of day.
The light was on flash last week and they had to reset it. It seems to be working as it should. Finally! It only changes when a car trips it from the shopping centers.
