Same kids all the time? If the cops were called, they need to talk w/ the parents. If that doesnt help. Id drive right up on their butts and lay on the horn the whole time until they got out of my right of way..

seriously??!!.....just what makes you think i am going fast? for your information i am driving the speed limit. the whole point is that the kids are in the middle of the street and they do not feel that they need to get out of the way for cars. whether i have kids or not is irrelevent.children should be taught that vehicles have the right of way and to show respect and consideration for drivers. if you have to beep your horn for them to move, there is no reason to get a dirty look or vulgar remarks. the street is for cars, not for kids to play on. if kids want to play in the street, they just need to be more alert. keeping their eyes open for cars is not too much to ask. having kids or not having kids is not the issue. keeping your children safe is.

annmarie, let me get this straight....as long as i don't drive "flippin" fast, kids can safely play in the street?? where is the logic in that? did your parents tell you to play in the street?

Geez, we all played in the street as kids, especially in Willowick. The yards are the size of postage stamps. During nonwinter seasons I do about 15 down side streets because kids dart into the street. If they aren't moving that's the problem, not so much they are in the street.
