City employees working long hard hours in completing upgrades to 6th Ave West. Barriers have been placed strategically to prevent drivers from entering this street while under construction. Last evening while socializing with freinds noted several vehicles had driven around the barriers and attempted to drive through the construction site....majority of these vehicles had to back up due to the sinking of their vehicles in the freshly escavated dirt, The work completed on Friday when these employees left was well levelled and graded. The deep tire marks leaving ruts will now need to be re graded. The motorists who drove their vehicles within this restricted area need a slap up the side of the head, for the thousands of dollars it will now cost to redo what took alot of man hours in hard work to complete.
