Deskripsyon

I'd like to see a change in the timing of the traffic light at this intersection. The Rte. 724 traffic gets an average of 1 1/2 minutes of green, & S. Hanover St. only gets about 20 seconds. Very unfair, especially as there isn't all that much difference in auto volume.

Anita -- You're right. At many times during the day the traffic on Hanover Street is actually much heavier than on 724. The left turn traffic on Hanover Street (in both directions) backs up because you get a couple seconds of green and only one or two cars can make the turn. You sit forever through the long cycle for 724. Whoever set the lights saw a "State Route" and a "Street" and just assumed 724 was always the major road -- it is NOT! There really should be left turn arrows for Hanover Street.
