This city is a joke when it comes to the roads! Im beginning to think they should all become gravel roads instead of paving them. So when construction season comes again and again, all they have to do is throw the gravel back in the road, pack it down and move along instead of constant patch work that the plows only rip apart in the winter. For this, we have to pay excise taxes to drive these crippled roads only for the city not to pay for damages to our cars while taking a simple trip to Dunkin Donuts!!!! Goo figure!!!!! Gloucester is a Joke!!!!!
These roads are definitely in need of being fixed. I have many concerns. Starknaught Heights, Oxford Rd and Starknaught Rd are extremely unsafe. My kids get whiplash every time we drive on them. One day my car pulled a huge part of the pavement out of one of the potholes and trust me I was driving slow. Half the time you have to drive in people's driveways to get around them. Our cars are all being damaged. When I was in labor a couple of years ago the ambulance couldn't even get to my house I had to hike down the street because they plow our roads last and apparently because it is somehow private. Our safety isn't a priority. I could go on and on. This is a major issue and safety concern of many and should be dealt with promptly.
Oxford Road and Starknaught Heights are so dangerous. The pot holes in some areas are huge craters. It's like an obstacle course to try and get through without hitting 1. I know some people that have gotten flat tires because of the pot holes. Please please please fix.
