The mattress has appeared next to a recently placed tent on the Hudson Street side of the park. It's away from the basketball courts toward the houses, actually nestled into the corner next to the houses
The larger encampment of several tents is boasting these bicycle tires There's a lot of other garbage as well Right in the park, in an area previously used for recreation and picnics

Sidewalk ADIは、482 Hardy St Oakland, CA 94618, USA - ShafterThere is a homeless person sleeping in the sidewalk. This is Day Two we've noticed him. Children are having to walk in the street to access the park next door. I understand we've got a homeless crisis. However it should not be blocking public access to public facilities.

Homeless Encampment Archived485 Hardy Street Oakland, California - ShafterOnce again, now that the weather has turned cold and wet, there is a homeless encampment on the basketball courts at Hardy Park every night. They set up a tent and sleeping bags, and park their shopping carts, after dark They are gone by early morning, so the City needs to be patrolling there in the evening and middle of the night. This is concerning to neighbors for a number of reasons: safety, sanitation, health and welfare of the homeless individuals.
